relay...

our church decided to participate in relay for life at the last minute- but i must say we did pull it off. these are a few pictures of jake that i took of him. he was a little late- jason brought him around 6 to drop him off and called my cell and asked me to come to the parking lot and to please "not be mad"- so of course, i was racking my brain on what might have been the problem. i get to the truck and see jake and he is covered with what looks like black eye shadow. jason was on the phone and wasn't paying attention- jake got a bottle of graphite powder out of the floorboard and dumped it out all over his body. needless to say, jason had to take him home and give him a bath and then bring him back- all the while he was finishing planting soybeans. he really wanted to be mad at me (i think)- but he knew he couldn't. i actually thought it was kinda funny!
