meridith and i took jake to the zoo here in monroe last week...it was a beautiful day and he really enjoyed it- he just wanted the animals to wake up!

- Jason and I started dating in June 2002. He proposed on Halloween 2003 (my favorite holiday) and we were married in November 2004. Jason graduated from LA Tech with a degree in Agriculture. He owns and operates a farm with his dad in East & West Carroll Parishes. He also has a car dealership in Oak Grove. I graduated from ULM with a degree in Early Childhood Education in December 2005. We were blessed with Jake in February 2006. This is the fourth year in what Jason calls my "33 year long career"- not so sure about that! It will be my third year teaching 2nd grade and I absolutely love it. I think it is a wonderful grade to teach. We've been blessed with a happy, healthy family. I created this blog to share Jake with friends and family who don't often get to see him. I hope this will give you a glimpse of what our little life is like. Enjoy!
