this kitchen belonged to me and meridith when we were little. we're thinking it is at least 22 years old. when i outgrew it- mom took it to the school and let her kindergarten class use it for centers. (like she did most of our things- we don't have very many toys or books from our childhood- they are all scattered throughout the classrooms of oge and goodwill) the kindergarten at oge has been using it ever since- it's been passed down from teacher to teacher- and they were instructed to return it when they no longer needed it. mrs. o'neal had plans to buy a new one over the summer and told me i could come and get it. it's in pretty good shape considering it has had 20 kids jumping on it day in and day out all this time. it might be silly to some- but i think it is kinda special. we have pictures of daddy "eating" our meals in this little kitchen. i know i'll probably never do anything with it- but it holds too many memories to let it go...
